@linsey__rachel @huskymgmt I was also interested and shocked to read that the U.S has one of the lowest union memberships compared to other countries. I am curious to know if this is due to the rapid increase in non unionized industries.

I was intrigued to learn that the U.S has one of the lowest Union Membership rates compared to other countries. In 2017, Sweden had a rate of 65% & Canada had a rate of 28% with the U.S only having a rate of 10%. #HRunion #MGMT352Ch15 #SCSU #SCSUmgmt352 #2021spring @huskymgmt

I was shocked to read in Ch 6 that more than half of HR managers have caught at least 1 piece of false information in a resume. Using background checks & references help distinguish dishonesty within applicants.
