Rather than shying away from discussing periods, brands should encourage healthy involvement in such discussions. They should shatter the myths about menstruation, educate, create positive awareness, and bring about change in the menstrual hygiene environment.
Hiding something so natural creates a negative notion in young menstruators about periods. It becomes difficult for them to ask for #Help and #support. It also affects menstruators' health because of the lack of acceptance and #MenstrualHygiene and #facilities.
Because periods are still treated as a taboo in our society, shopkeepers believe it is their responsibility to wrap a pack of pads to save themselves and mentruators the embarrassment. Society has normalized it over the years for which till date pads are wrapped and sold.
As you answer this first question, hereβs a thought. What if menstruation had feelings and wrote about us the menstruators. What would she say? Perhaps it would ask - βWhy would madam want to hide my existence?β

Don't all women? When I was in school, girls bonded on their #PadSmuggling Stories. But with changing perspectives of the world, these stories are reducing making it a better place where we donβt have to hide pads anymore, and I'm proud of that. #HaqSePERIOD#MHDay2022
