• Kohl's board found its CEO signed two major deals with Chandra Holt, former CEO of Bed, Bath & Beyond

• The two previously had a romantic relationship during their time working at Walmart

• Buchanan had Kohl's sign a multi-million dollar deal with Holt's consulting team

• He never disclosed his relationship to Holt with the board

• Now that he's been fired, he loses all equity awards and has to repay his $2.5 million signing bonus
