फक्त मुंबई–गोवा राष्ट्रीय महामार्गाची तुमच्यासोबत हेलिकॉप्टरमधून पाहणी करू द्या.

कारण मी पूर्ण रस्ता पायी चालत गेलोय या महामार्गावरील प्रत्येक छोटा -मोठा खड्डा मला इतका तोंडपाठ झाला आहे की, हेलिकॉप्टरमध्ये बसूनही मी तुम्हाला खाली बोट दाखवत सांगू शकतो—“साहेब, इथे खड्डा आहे… पुढे अजून एक आहे… आणि थोड्याच अंतरावर पुन्हा एक मोठा खड्डा आहे.”

ही अतिशयोक्ती नाही, तर या महामार्गावर दररोज प्रवास करणाऱ्या हजारो नागरिकांची वेदना आहे. कोणी बोलो वा ना बोलो आम्हाला कोकणकरांचे जीव वाचवायचे आहेत जीव .
