@trentjhughes Make sure it's 100% Virtual/Remote, pick a client Niche, Build out processes, automate as much as possible, build a team and scale it to $1M+ Annual Revenue.
@luke_templin For Payroll I do have someone local that specializes in Payroll services that I refer clients to or I just recommend Gusto or ADP.
For Bill Pay most clients don't have a lot of payables, they have mostly recurring expenses. The ones that do have payables manage it internally.
@ConnorAbene I think you're absolutely right about the market size of businesses needing Bookkeeping vs CFO services. I guess I started at the other end with only offering Bookkeeping services for now but have been considering adding a higher level CFO service in the future.
@BenBookkeeper My bookkepers handle some of those tasks but I still take care of anything involving client communication for now. I'm definitely looking to make some changes to that as my firm grows. I appreciate the detailed response!
@MLS_Buzz Now do Atlanta......🤣 Prices increase every year no matter how we perform (which has been sub-par the last few years). I'm willing to admit our stadium/experience is still top of the league tho.
@irentdumpsters@QuickBooks@WaveHQ I'm not sure. I've only used it for the accounting feature for LLC's with low transaction volume. Never used it for invoicing. I'd assume it's similar fee structure to Stripe or Square.
@ConnorAbene Agreed! Any new business owner will need both 1 & 2 in the first year in that order. I'd also suggest that the CPA/Tax Accountants should be utilized before the end of year for Tax Planning, but as you said they need clean Books to work https://t.co/EOO0S9jFaC be effective.
