@realZexzyz@TyrannosaurRex@AssassinGE01@VetVsTheMachine@ashtonpittman@grok Enlighten me then.
“Not supposed to” according to who? You? Your opinion doesn’t matter.
Department policies? It doesn’t outright prohibit it. It is allowed if necessary.
Federal law? Legal.
State law? Legal.
This is literally what you meant, so cut the crap.
@johnfordthe@starbab94149021 I have some news for ya: referring to case law while ignoring the details that are literally visible in front of you is simply just stupid.
You can’t just apply the same precedent to a different situation with different circumstances.
@realZexzyz@TyrannosaurRex@AssassinGE01@VetVsTheMachine@ashtonpittman Hey @grok
In Mississippi, if a suspect uses their car as a weapon while fleeing, and attempts to run over two cops who were standing in front of the vehicle, is it true that officers cannot shoot the car afterwards just because it’s a moving vehicle?
@BULLET_SL@JackFrostztnh@RobertH632@camchasemax@ashtonpittman I have som newsflash for ya.
When someone is using their car as a weapon, you don’t have the luxury of going over to the car and checking each seat to see if there are other passengers in the car or not.
And even if there were, lethal force may still be required.
@owl_elc@JoeEsjay Attempting to run over two police officers is a capital crime. A motor vehicle is a weapon, and can be used as a weapon. She posed an imminent threat to the cops and to other bystanders.
@blr1999153474@FerdousS777@seqCharm@rutvisayss Exactly. Iran and its Shiite proxies killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people, including many Muslim children in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. In fact, I’d argue that Iran’s crimes are as bad as Israel’s. But apparently, worshipping Iran is now the criterion for being a Muslim.
@BlackMagic120@FHunt69@picstoral@ashtonpittman I have some newsflash for you.
If someone tries to run over a cop, they may try to run over other cops. They may run over other bystanders.
They just used their vehicle as a weapon, so they pose an imminent threat of death or serious injury to the cops and to the bystanders.
@health_seo@jexter@DntBurnYoBridge@ashtonpittman Not sure if you’re blind or stupid, or maybe both. At first, he was standing IN FRONT of the car, clearly VISIBLE TO THE DRIVER, and the driver STILL ACCELERATED TOWARDS HIM, attempting to RUN HIM OVER. She was still a threat to other officers and to bystanders.
@BULLET_SL@RobertH632@camchasemax@ashtonpittman Well, he did use the gun as his last option. He only fired when she tried to run him over, making her a threat to other officers and to other bystanders. Not sure what you think “their last option ” means, but it certainly doesn’t mean they can only shoot after they’re killed.
@FHunt69@picstoral@ashtonpittman No he didn’t? Lmao. Not sure if you’re blind or what, but he was literally standing in front of the car BEFORE it accelerated toward him.
@jexter@DntBurnYoBridge@ashtonpittman They didn’t shoot because she shoplifted, they shot because she attempted to run him over. She literally attempted to use her car as a lethal weapon.
@FerdousS777@blr1999153474@seqCharm@rutvisayss I see that your grammar is also not that great, which makes me even more confused as to why you’re living in the US with poor command of English. I suggest you learn Farsi and go live in Iran.
