Local TV stations play a critical role in keeping our communities informed and safe, and I am glad to support the Arkansas Broadcasters Association in their efforts to strengthen the local news we depend on daily.
In December, I sat down with @Coach_Dezz. She spoke it into existence. The extension for her as A-State’s WBB Head Coach is going to be so satisfying to see.

Waking up in the USA to the awful news about the mid-air collision between @AmericanAir#AA5342 and a US Army Sikorsky H-60 helicopter over the Potomac river near Ronald Reagan Airport, Washington. A tragic accident. My thoughts are with all involved.
As always at times like this I advise against speculation. I have already read comments made by some people who should know better. Let the investigators do their job so the families of those involved can be told what happened, why, and how a dreadful accident like this can be prevented in future.
My thoughts are also with the on-site teams working in very difficult conditions.
A sad day.
