@GolfloverUK I belive they went to knee height to actually make the ball land softer. Players were droping the ball from shoulder hight and too frequently it would bounce and exit the 2-club area, and then they’d get to place it. It’s not about drop-accuracy, but decreasing drop-velocity.

Last thing I’m going to say regarding anything to do with LIV because while it’s fun to spend a day dunking on people whose only way of communicating is name-calling and clown emojis, it’s exhausting.

I think it’s ok for LIV to exist. I wish it was used as a way to propel guys’ careers rather than what it is. I don’t like the format. I don’t like the atmosphere. Some people do. Fine.
I don’t blame anyone who went. Money is hard to turn down at the level it was thrown at them.
I think LIV players should be considered for Ryder Cup spots if they’ve earned it thru their play.

I want LIV to fail because I’m not going to watch it, but there are a handful of players I wish were still on Tour.
