What’s truly of value in life? what gives our lives meaning? We weren't born to cause trouble or harm. To be of value, we must develop basic good human qualities---warmth, kindness, compassion. Then our life will become happier and more meaningful.
To my mind, the greatest issue here is slowing everything down to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to be heard. Ihumatao, Mauna Keu. To me it reeks of a continuation of voices unheard and then muted if interrupting an existing agenda. Let's learn to listen. Heart & mind.

The localised curriculum is a great opportunity for schools to partner with Māori communities and iwi to develop a curriculum where Māori learners see themselves reflected in the narrative and in the creation of contemporary narratives.

@realDonaldTrump Life is sacred and must be nurtured. What does that look like for any child born? If the mother is obliged to give life it is encumbant upon all of us to ensure that the child experiences a life worth living. Those are the laws worthy of our lives.
