@CarrieGrant1@BBCNewsnight I’m so glad you are doing this Carrie, such good news, keep shouting loud, I so hope someone In government listens. We need an education overhaul, so so many children are distressed by school.
This is SO important, many of us have been banging on about it for years. #Children need to #PLAY and less pressure and homework and extracurricular activities!!' All work, no independent play' is hurting children's mental health .. https://t.co/bmkTGQm4Yu #stress#anxiety
@ChrisGPackham@BBCTwo@BBCiPlayer Amazing and wonderful programme. I work every day as a psychotherapist with some brilliant neurodiverse young people, this programme has given me new insight and understanding, thank you 😊
@naomicfisher@NotFineinSchool There has to be a radical overhaul of our education system. The system is damaging the emotional health and well-being of our children. Something has to be done, so many children are so so sad and many angry and frustrated. Can we start some kind of lobby to the government?
@naomicfisher@NotFineinSchool I agree Naomi with everything you have said. I work as a child psychotherapist with many children and see first hand the effect our outdated and results led education system is having on our children.
In schools all children need an oasis during the day far from the maddening crowd. They need to know who that emotionally available adult is? Where can they find them? When can they go to them?
@Rachel_deSouza@ChildrensComm I too am passionate about children. I’m so glad you are doing this at a national level. Each day I listen to children’s stories and try to understand their struggles. I am increasingly worried about how sad many of our children are. What an important role you have 💕
Babies are born with 100 billion neurons. With every new
experience, connections form in the babies brain and the neurons are activated .This process happens fastest in the first few months of life.🧠🌱
Relationship, Relationship, Relationship. Avoid seeing ‘behaviour’ but see communication. We need to remember that children don't choose to have a meltdown. We need to bring calm , not shame.🧠
Absolutely love this blog by Bethan and @meerameera03 from @youthgreatermcr on how young people have been at the heart of designing our #BeeWell survey: https://t.co/coklDIfLMh @Work_Life_You @YouthFocusNW
