Google is going to own medical AI.
They bought Fitbit (now part of Google), renamed the app Google Health, and quietly built the most complete consumer health profile anyone has ever assembled.
Connect it to your hospital portals (MyChart, One Medical, whatever you use) and it pulls in years of lab results, visit notes, and diagnostic history. That sits right next to your HRV, sleep, steps, and heart rate from the wristband ($115, goodbye WHOOP). Now layer it on top of everything Gemini and Search already know about you.
Unlike Apple, Google isn't shy about asking for the data. The app even generates a prompt you can paste into Claude, ChatGPT etc. to round-out your Google profile. And it ships with a Gemini-powered health coach that has the full picture.
Amazon bought One Medical (I instantly connected it to Google Health). What does Google buy next?
