@mikeowens1@CostanzaLOTI@kamathematic It can be achieved with Kareem and just about reached with DeMarcus Cousins, but it's so heavily weighted towards rebounds that unless your centre is around the 20 rebound mark you have very little chance.
@El_Mince_@PlugLifeHoops@mldiffley Reggie Miller was balling in the 90s, came within touching distance of a championship multiple times, only to lose to some of the greatest players ever.
@reycoti1@NathanielKlaff But there's currently no floor, if every team just paid 40 guys league minimum it would be $31.2M. There's no reason for wealthier teams to go to the floor, they'll want to maximise their winning chance by spending as much as the cap allows.
@techeasysavvy@nbarealist23 He never missed the playoffs with the Bulls, and against Larry Bird and the Celtics he put up 63, still the playoff single-game scoring record, and still lost the game, because basketball is a team sport and he lacked support until Pippin, whereas Bird had a team of 5 HoFers.
@TrueVillan1@dave43law So for any organisation that knows their employees usually go over, like stock trading, employ them on 40 hour contracts and then another 20-40 hours overtime. It'll be a colossal loss to the treasury, and benefit the wealthy the most.
@JeffCMRT@ThrimbyFarms Agreed, but it's a 5 - 10 minute delay in a potential life or death situation to move both those cars, which could make a difference
@irvineadvent27@Verysimpleidea@TheNBABase If he'd spent his off-season shooting 1,000 a day he'd have easily dragged that up to a respectable level, he didn't have any coordination issues, so repeatability and mechanics would have easily got him to the 70% where Hack-A-Shaq wouldn't be viable
@databallr Really not a fan, it just means that in games where a 3pt shooter is really hot teams will foul them. Take Kyle Korver's 2010 season, his expected points would have been 1.608 taking a 3 but 1.592 on 2 free throws. It's only a small difference, but still a perverse incentive.
@davidbirkettsnp The only thing that would be challenged is whether the voters clear intention to vote for the SNP is demonstrated, it will likely be argued during the count that the comment shows there wasn't a clear intention there. Would be interesting to learn the outcome.
@phhusson@Blazethecurious Paris' busiest Metro line, line 14, carries 725,000 on average, and it's taken 28 years to get to that point (they throw around the 820,000 a day stat but that's just weekdays, once weekends are factored in it's much lower).
@VincentStClair@Clint_Davey1 player not know, which I've seen done by having one token be different on its overseas, so when flipped the unit is at the red token, for example. 2/2
@VincentStClair@Clint_Davey1 The problem with that approach, which I've seen similar done in War of the Ring, is that the player can effectively cover multiple areas with one unit, because they can declare any of the three sites. In practice they should have to lock in which they're at, but the other 1/2
@kitjenson@CJNitkowski But it should be no different from having a position player pitch, are you proposing that teams that use position players to pitch in shutouts should have to designate them pitchers and lose relievers as a result? If another team wants the same advantage, make a pitcher bat.
@newnewyams@Three_Cone Bob Cousy has 6 championships, 13 All Stars (in a 13 year period!), was NBA Assists Leader 8 times, and an MVP. He was the greatest guard ever upto the era he played and it's not close. To omit him would be to admit these lists are bullshit and only count modern players.
@CFCCFC43096628@DanNeidle I'm fairly sure these 'Mega Marshmallows' are the giant marshmallows that would be tricky for a child to stuff whole in their mouth, they're sold with the intention of being roasted on a fire, popular with scout groups and for camping trips.
@tkmontani@radioactivered Because it doesn't destroy it, you just end up with an active volcano full of radioactive waste. The volcano then erupts and sprays that waste high into the atmosphere and covers a few hundred miles in radioactive waste dust.
