@KELINKenya, through the #SolidarityProject with support from @ITPCglobal and in partnership with CEHURD, conducted a study analyzing Uganda's health landscape, particularly HIV, TB, and Hepatitis C to address Intellectual Property (IP) barriers and improve access to medicines.
The study highlighted Uganda's progress in HIV and TB management, with no funding shortfall for 2023/24 and strong alignment with WHO guidelines. The Global Fund remains the primary external donor, and government funding for HIV increased by 33%.
