This video, recorded in Lagot, Kitgum District exemplifies the criminality of Museveni's regime of blood and national shame. UPDF soldiers under the command of a GISO are severely beating up a man who they accuse of stealing a motorcycle. Despite his pleas that he is innocent, they do not stop beating him. They simply want him to accept that he stole the motorcycle or they will continue the torture!
The way they tied him with ropes before beating him is similar to the many stories we have heard from our people who have been lucky to get out of those torture chambers. Imagine if there was no video. Regime apologists would be all over the place denying that this happened, and claiming that we want to make them look bad! Wangadya and her 'Human Rights Commission' would be shamelessly calling it a lie and covering up for the regime.
This is why the world must isolate the criminal regime. This is why we call for more sanctions against perpetrators of this criminality- beginning with their commander in chief. This is why Ugandan deserves better. This is why we are struggling for change! #BringBackOurPeople
International news agencies are reporting the abduction and kidnapping of Bobi Wine and his wife, yet media outlets at home remain silent. This is what dictatorship looks like — fear imposed, truth suppressed, and journalism held hostage. But we aren’t giving up.
Since our President urged us to reach out to everyone and humbly request a vote to usher in a New Uganda, Ngezeko eno.
Greetings, Ssebo Gen. @mkainerugaba
With deep humility and respect, I kindly request you not to forget to vote for H.E. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert @HEBobiwine on 15th January 2026.
This will be a #ProtestVote, a vote against 40 years of failed governance, decades of corruption that have dragged our nation back into the dark trenches of military brutality, poor infrastructure, a collapsing health system, a dead education sector, and widespread youth unemployment among others.
I also humbly appeal to you to encourage the SFC and UPDF to vote for the Umbrella. They too are Ugandans. They too deserve dignity and respect. They need better working conditions, proper medical insurance, fair pay, and a country that truly values their sacrifice and service.
I strongly believe that through unity, love, and mutual respect, we can achieve all this in a New Uganda. If you believe in democracy and peaceful coexistence, I pray you receive this message in good faith.
Lastly, I kindly ask that you urge our army to be patriotic and to stop brutalizing Ugandans. We are not at war with them. We are in the same basket, seeking to correct a 40-year national crisis for the good of all.
#NewUgandaNow
I don't think we fully comprehend the sacrifice that BW is making for us as a Country.
He has witnessed uncountable near death experiences but he still wakes up every morning determined to reach every Ugandan with the message of HOPE & CHANGE
He chooses Uganda over his own life.
Good evening @PoliceUg,
It has been 24 hours and we are still waiting for your statement on the terror unleashed on President Bobi Wine, his campaign team, and his supporters while campaigning in Gulu and Adjumani. We need to hear you say that they provoked security operatives.
My heart aches for these kids,John Bosco Kibalama’s children, the mother is all they were left after the disappearance of their father now she’s also gone💔💔.
We have been gathered at Makerere-Kavule this afternoon to simplify to the nation the 11 priority policy areas in our 2026-2031 presidential Manifesto -- the key pillars of @NUP_Ug's government once we take power. I thank the team of our comrades and leaders who have made today's presentations.
I now call upon all NUP candidates across the country to do the same: break down our Manifesto village by village, voter by voter until every Ugandan understands what the New Uganda we promise shall look like. #PeoplePowerOurPower #AnewUgandaNow #ProtestVote2026ysh
