@frogobot3000 @whcarlinjr @Itsfoss I have the same issue here. I found it worked better oddly with a tiling manager like niri and in some ways worse.

Tried having default like setups and setting things differently.

RDP within Winboat is just too buggy. Only the full on desktop experience on one monitor works

THe evil onlyoffice is the only one I coudl see myself using.

I do however boot excel from winboat at the moment and use my work login hehe. That has its own issues but prob the best.

@whcarlinjr @frogobot3000 @Itsfoss Yes there are definitely things clunky. Like certain shortcuts not there or different ways to get to them at least with spreadsheets.

Libre I find similar issues on that front too but it is probably also a matter of getting used to it.

@frogobot3000 @whcarlinjr @Itsfoss well opensource cannot make anything that works in the real world as good as they do sadly. ONly way to really penguin and excel properly for me.

You need to be able to share ur own sheets also with other people and for them to work.

Ofcourse u coudl google sheet. to some lv

@AyaWetts @Danielton74925 @Itsfoss yes nvidia improved a lot even in the past 2 years. On fedora iirc I had to use opensource drivers to get to install fedora copr nvidia drivers iirc. After that done for life.

Non-issue. Also what would a boycott to Nvidia by linux users do... lol

Sadly openoffice fat outperforms it for the real world with much better compatability to files I will be sent etc.

The featureset is more of a direct rip of MS so it is a strong product despite Russian.

They are called AppImages and in some ways superior because you get the choice of making it portable just by creating a folder in the same directory as the AppImage.
