Use your mind and your conscience, and do not be part of a herd that simply repeats what it is told without thinking. Every human being has the ability to distinguish between right and wrong, and between injustice and justice. No one should have to tell you that the suffering of innocent people is something that cannot be accepted.

Injustice is clear for everyone to see, and the truth does not need someone to decorate it or hide it. A person’s true character is revealed when they have the courage to see the truth and refuse to remain silent when the rights of innocent people are taken away.

Education in Gaza is not accessible to most kids due to the harsh circumstances that they’re living in. Everyday the families split between community kitchens, water queues, bread queues, clinic visits, lighting the fire, collecting wood and more.

Even the few schools that do exist, some charge money so many can’t afford that and all of them are in tents with dozens of kids crammed together to learn. A difficult environment for kids to learn even if schools exist.

The families in the camps we distribute in were really upset that we stopped meat / chicken meals, so we decided to be innovative and came up with more affordable dishes packed with protein!

Our incredible Chef Majid came up with nutrition filled meals like this one that they called Thai Chicken, which includes onion, black pepper, mushrooms, corn and carrots. Wholesome and filling meals for only $3!

Right now, The Sameer Project kitchen is making around 1,600 meals per day for four days a week. We used to cook 7 days a week but have now reduced the days due to the decrease in funding. We need your help to go back to 3,000 meals for 7 days a week to support Palestinians in Gaza!
