Still, people don't entirely realize what has happened. The party now in control of the US executive branch is a third party built out of the corpses of two prevailing parties.
It goes by the name Republican but that is nearly a historical accident. Nearly all the top people are refugees from the Democrat Party and were never welcomed and even hated by the legacy establishment of the Republicans.
So far, there is every indication of the intention: to dismantle government as we've known it for a century or more. I consider that a good thing in general.
All jokes aside it's really fucked up to see so many people on here celebrating murder. No one here is the judge of who deserves to live or die. That's the job of the AI algorithm the insurance company designed to maximise profits on your health
The holiday this year is landing at an emotionally fraught moment. Many of us are apprehensive about spending time with people who have different views than our own, and that’s a very good possibility this Thanksgiving.
Emotionally it’s as though we've become the Disunited States and it’s up to each of us to address that.
Here are some spiritual principles that will make it whole lot easier…
1. Wherever you’re going for dinner, blast the room with love before you walk in.
2. Take a moment before you do, to be conscious of judgements you hold toward anyone you know might be there. Let them go.
Any judgmental thought you have toward anyone at the dinner will have a negative effect on the energy in the room, while every positive thought will be ameliorative.
3. During dinner, be the best listener you’ve ever been in your life.
4. See people as people first, mouthpieces for their political views second. Silently bless people whether you agree with them or not.
5. Remember Martin Luther King, Jr. words: "You have very little morally persuasive power with people who can feel your underlying contempt.” If people can feel your disrespect for their political views, you will have zero power at opening their minds to another way of looking at things.
6. Remember that drinking alcohol will probably decrease your ability to do any of this. Be careful.
7. If politics comes up, express yourself with facts and not attitude! Appreciate that everyone voted from their own deep-seated belief about what is right for the country. No one has a monopoly on truth, and most people have more wisdom to share than we might think.
8. In A Course in Miracles it says that if we’re judging someone, we’re wrong even if we’re right. We think we’re going to understand someone to see whether or not they’re worthy of our love, but until we love them we will never understand them.
9. Seek to be a vessel of love at the table more than anything else. Speak your truth without withholding respect for the truths of others.
10. Be nice to people. It makes all the difference.
None of those things are difficult so much as they’re just different. Most significantly, they’re a recipe for a lovely dinner. More than the food, more than the drink, more than the location, more than the company - your own ability to open your heart is what will make the dinner a special event.
Proud that we posted this letter from one of our readers on X. When the President has won the vote of the majority of Americans then ALL voices must be heard. Opinions are just that. I will work towards making our paper and media fair and balanced so that all voices are heard and we can respectfully exchange every American’s view ..from left to right to the center. Coming soon. A new Editorial Board. Trust in media is critical for a strong democracy.
If you love free speech, please take the time to read this—a free speech warrior & beloved UK journalist needs our help.
A real-life Orwellian “Ministry of Truth” known as Ofcom won a UK court battle & is now demanding @MarkSteynOnline pay a £50,000 (approx. $64,000) fine for reading Official Government Health Data on air about the C-19 booster shots in March 2023.
This news comes after Ofcom also successfully pressured @GBNEWS to fire Steyn, one of their top GBN news anchors and former Fox News contributor.
Steyn was not a so-called “anti-vaxxer.” In fact, Steyn himself received multiple doses of the C•19 shots, (as his employer required at the time) and subsequently suffered 2 heart attacks in 2022.
Thankfully Steyn survived and recovered, but only to return to work & be fired and egregiously fined due to the UK’s Ministry of Truth, aka Ofcom.
Sadly, the fine could increase pending further litigation, as Ofcom originally fined Steyn £100,00 for simply reading Official UK Government statistics on air.
After publishing this news yesterday, many of you asked how you can help. Since then, I’ve been in touch with Mark Steyn’s team and they were able to set up a @GiveSendGo so ‘we the people’ can help fight against this tyrannical censorship regime by helping fearless, brave people like Mark Steyn who didn’t cower to group think, conformity and toeing the party line when so many others cowered. Steyn defiantly reported inconvenient truths, facts & data despite the risks.
If you’re able to help, please do so—any amount small or large will help make a BIG difference: https://t.co/itYluviy3P
Let’s show Ofcom and all the Orwellian group think pro-censorship organizations that there are more of us than them and that their attempt to silence those who speak the truth only makes us stronger & louder.
And if you’re wondering what could Mark Steyn have possibly said to deserve such an egregious punishment—here’s the clip of his March 2023 monologue so you can judge it for yourself.
All actions of the Department of Government Efficiency will be posted online for maximum transparency.

We will also have a leaderboard for most insanely dumb spending of your tax dollars. This will be both extremely tragic and extremely entertaining 🤣🤣
I don’t care about who’s publicly supporting Rick Scott. It doesn’t matter. Politicians lie.
What we should be demanding is that Senators’ votes for Majority Leader are made PUBLIC and not cast in SECRET.
The stakes are far too high.
