@JeeC84 Indeed, and we try to report fake accounts as soon as we can. Unfortunately, we can't take them down ourselves, this is up to the platform and their policies.
Staking FLR helps secure the Flare network by supporting validators and block production, while delegating FLR/WFLR helps secure Flare’s data layer by assigning your vote power to FTSO data providers that submit price feeds.
This is how we achieve a strong security model with decentralized data verification.
@KobeissiLetter When seven names ARE the index, their bad day is everyone's bad day. The same Nasdaq that "only goes up" on AI earnings hands it back in a single morning. Concentration cuts both ways. It just feels a lot better on the way up.
The Flare codebase upgrade to Avalanche 1.14.0 is scheduled for July 14 on @FlareNetworks.
It brings several FIP.16 changes, including a gas fee increase and a 20% minimum delegation fee.
What does that mean in practice? We wrote a short breakdown:👇

Worth noting that the only proposals ahead of FIP.16 (adjusted for supply) are FIP.1 and FIP.6 (introducing FTSOv2).
But FIP.16 is very different in nature, it's a forward-looking redesign of tokenomics and value capture.
This level of engagement at this stage says a lot.
FIP.16 just recorded the highest number of votes in @FlareNetworks governance history, by a huge margin.
Even after adjusting for circulating supply, it ranks top 3.
It's one of the strongest signals that community is actively engaging with a fundamental shift in the network.
LATEST: @FlareNetworks opens voting on FIP.16 tomorrow, a proposal to cut $FLR inflation from 5% to 3%, capture MEV at the protocol level and redirect revenues to fund token buybacks and burns.
A new governance proposal is live: Introduce $FLR Value Capture Framework
What it’s about:
• Lower inflation: Annual inflation falls from 5% to 3%, and the yearly inflation hard cap drops from 5B FLR to 3B FLR.
• Stronger fee burn: the base gas fee rises 20x, from 60 gwei to 1200 gwei, resulting in est. 300M FLR burned per year at current transaction levels.
• Protocol-level revenue accrual and FIRE setup: Establish a framework to collect flows from protocol fees and captured MEV from DeFi activity on Flare with scope to further reduce annual inflation.

This is absolutely insane:
At 7:04 AM ET today, President Trump said “the US and Iran have had productive discussions" to end the Iran War.
By 7:10 AM ET, the S&P 500 surged +240 points adding +$2 TRILLION in market cap.
27 minutes later, Iran completely denied all of President Trump's claims and said there has been "no contact" with the US.
By 8:00 AM ET. the S&P 500 had fallen -120 points erasing -$1 trillion in market cap.
That's a $3 TRILLION swing market cap in 56 minutes, just in the S&P 500.
What is happening here?
