#EXPORT OF #KNITWEAR DURING JULY TO NOVEMBER 2023-24
Export of knitted garments during July to November 2023-24, i.e. 5 months of the financial year 2023-24 was US$ 1.835 billion as compared with US$ 2.122 billion during the same period last year, showing a decrease of 13.11%.
During the period under review, export of Woven garments was US$ 1.370 billion with a decrease of 9.45% over the corresponding period last year.
The export of the whole textile group was 6.833 billion i.e. 6.50% less than in the same period last year.

Pakistan SCORE Lean Manufacturing Training Programme 2023
The ILO's EU-funded "ILES" project seeks enterprises from the ready-made garments and leather sectors to participate in the SCORE Lean Manufacturing Training Programme.
A focus group discussion with the selected members interested in the programme is going to be held on Thursday 7th December 2023 at 11 am at PHMA Sialkot.
Musharraf Iqbal Kh., Chairman, PHMA (Sialkot), engaged in a high-level meeting with H.E. Dr. Romani Brahim, the Ambassador of Algeria in Pakistan to explore and strategize avenues for bolstering hosiery, knitwear, and sportswear exports from Pakistan to the Algerian market.
Export of Knitted garments during the month of September 2023 was US$ 346.02 million as compared with US$ 401.25 million during August 2023 which is 13.77% less than last month.
Export of knitted garments during July to September 2023-24, i.e. 1st Quarter of the financial year 2023-24 was US$ 1.111 billion as compared with US$ 1.320 billion during the same period last year, showing a decrease of 15.83%.
