@DKThomp That episode of the Huberman lab podcast remains the most downloaded and shared episodes. Humbly, of all podcasts, not just ours. Hard to imagine people are listening to it specifically because of hopes of living longer. That wasn’t an emphasis of the episode.
@DKThomp I don’t think it’s fear. Nor about longevity. The vast majority of (admittedly skewed) feedback I get about the alcohol episode of the HLP is how much better people feel not drinking or that they never liked it & now feel they have good reasons to abstain.
