Science communicator Hank Green launched a specialized website that organizes every publicly released photo from the #ArtemisII mission into an interactive, live timeline. Located at artemistimeline(dot)com, the site syncs each image with the crew's official mission schedule and the real-time position of the Orion spacecraft during its 10 day journey around the Moon. By utilizing EXIF metadata from NASA's Flickr archives and trajectory data from public APIs, the platform allows users to see exactly where the crew was when a specific photograph was captured. Green utilized AI tools to assist with the massive data correlation required to align thousands of images with the spacecraft's orbital path.

1 dream realized.
In 2024, I went to space, becoming the 704th person, the first Iranian-born man, and the first physician on a commercial mission.
Floating in zero gravity and looking at Earth, I realized: every “no” wasn’t the end. It was part of the journey.
Whatever your dream is, keep going. Your setbacks are shaping your story.
Tim Dodd, the content creator at “Everyday Astronaut”, just posted his supercut of Artemis II. Amazing footage. https://t.co/ftZBMCeaDI @Erdayastronaut

Artemis II showed a new generation what’s possible.
Millions watched as humans began the journey back to the Moon. The engineers, explorers, and astronauts who will build the Moon base and go to Mars are watching today.
This is how the next era of exploration begins.
I am proud of the NASA team, and we will never stop elevating our game. SpaceX mission streaming is top notch. They have had a few hundred launch opportunities to dial it in. As we improve our launch cadence - I promise we will improve the streaming coverage along with it. In the interim, Artemis II is headed to the Moon.
