In India, dogs enjoy a luxury most humans can only dream of: free pick-and-drop service. No, not Uber. Not Ola. It’s called “Government Dog Tourism Express.”

The process is noble in theory—catch the strays, vaccinate them, sterilize them, and then release them back to the exact same pothole they were napping in. Because heaven forbid we disturb their real estate rights.

The municipal van arrives like a shuttle service, picks up the dogs, gets them immunized and sterilized (at least on paper - as evidenced by their growing population) only for the dog to return to the same street corner— with a government-approved stamp of survival.

Meanwhile, honest tax paying harassed residents are chased and bitten by the same packs of dogs. They are keep alert and awake at nights by the same barking and are afraid to step out at night afraid of being bitten.

But don’t worry. The system will continue to work perfectly. The dogs will continue to bark/chase/bite, the NGOs will continue to get their funding and tell everyone that rabies is not dangerous, celebs will still talk about humane treatment of dogs all the while cocooned safely in their secure homes & playgrounds surrounded by their bodyguards.

Everybody wins except the honest, tax paying citizen whose only fault was to be born in this era…

@Senkkoh You don’t need useless stats when you have max slams, weeks at no.1, YEC & oly gold. Paddling such stats as above is pointless. Had he played one extra match against an outside top 200 player in 2011, the avg would have gone up by 2.5. That would still be probably his best year.

@EurekaForbes I have been struggling since Aug to get you to repair my aqua guard (under AMC). Last email (attached) & call with you was on Oct 5th when i was assured of immediate resolution. The assurance was as useless as your products. Biggest mistake to buy your products.
