#Nutrition situation in #Africa remains an urgent concern, with over 280 million people undernourished and millions unable to afford a healthy diet.

At the 15th African Task Force on Food and Nutrition Development (ATFFND) meeting 2026 in #Addis Ababa #Ethiopia, the Director for Health and Humanitarian Affairs @_AfricanUnion Commission, @ProfJulioRAKOT1 called on AU member states and partners to increase investment in nutrition and integrate nutrition in various sectors, to address structural drivers of malnutrition and accelerate sustainable nutrition outcomes.

Yesterday 06 Feburary 2026, In Mwogo Sector in Bugesera District, ICIRWANDA supported 42 vulnerable families with 02 rabbits (01 male, 01 female) and 01 chicken layer per family to enable quick multiplication, income generation, and improved child nutrition.
