@Biff234523@MASKattheOpera@singingsox Fair point—but it cuts both ways. These studies can’t tell us if Xocova prevents vascular injury or persistence, but they also can’t justify that it does “not much” for LC prevention. They show fewer persistent symptoms. So: promising, incomplete evidence- not proof either way.
@Biff234523@MASKattheOpera@singingsox That still isn’t definitive proof, but “not much in terms of Long COVID prevention” goes too far. “Promising evidence, not yet proven” is a more accurate description.
@michael_hoerger Thanks! Here’s a quick mock-up. The color still shows prevalence, but a subtle dot pattern would distinguish model-estimated counties from those with actual wastewater sampling. I think it adds clarity without clutter.
@michael_hoerger I’m trying to understand the northern Michigan hotspot. For estimated counties like Crawford, how do you account for the fact that much of the area is on septic and not contributing to the wastewater? Could a small sewershed end up representing a much larger rural population?
@Biff234523 Impressive it all fits in there. The yellow lozenges - iota carrageenan for the throat? Ive seen for the nose but did not know about these. Any studies other than the nurses Iota carrageenan nasal study?
@markwarling3@jlerollblues Well … they are sitting about 2 dozen Perrier bottles away from each other. Certainly an airborne virus causing fever and vomiting can’t travel that far.
@EricTopol@prenuvo Prenuvo’s model of giving customers discounts and credits for recruiting friends to buy expensive elective scans feels more like influencer-driven wellness marketing than traditional medicine.
