This stretch should be mandatory for people who sit at desks.
It's called the Tactical Frog.
Your hip flexors shorten when you sit. Your glutes stop firing. Your lower back picks up the slack and starts screaming.
The Tactical Frog targets the inner groin, hip flexors, and adductors at the same time.
How to do it:
Get on all fours. Slide your knees out wide, feet flat and facing out. Lower your hips back slowly until you feel a deep stretch through the inner thighs and groin. Hold for 60 to 90 seconds. Breathe into the tight spots.
It should feel uncomfortable but not painful.
Do it every morning before you open your laptop. Do it again before bed.
I've had clients eliminate years of lower back pain just by making this a daily habit because back wasn't the problem. The hips were.
Sitting is not neutral. It's a slow accumulation of tension that eventually becomes injury.
This can be the antidote.
I’ve written to Steven several times asking him why if he’s so smart about dopamine that he ignores the data showing peripheral and central dopamine can rise in parallel. We definitely need more data on that.
I’ve also asked him why the lead author on the dopamine paper that he parades around (his last real publication was 2005) contradicts his very conclusions. I’ve invited him on the podcast, but he’d rather throw darts at people like @SahilBloom who’s actually out there doing great things and helping people with his book and inspiring people. I do hope Steven will have a public conversation with me about dopamine at some point because he’s also put similar arguments against my colleague Anna Lembke’s dopamine dynamics statements and ignored the counter evidence. Great to be scholarly and academic, but that means actually having a conversation where counter points to the counterpoints can be raised.
After the remembrance of Henry Nowak in Stockholm today, a 14-year-old attending the event was confronted by police and pressured to leave.
“Are you interested in the extreme right?”
“You could become very exposed and vulnerable.”
“Do you know what you’re getting yourself into?”
“Do your parents know that you’re here?”
Why is a teenager attending a meeting by @AFS_riks, a registered political party, a police concern, @polisen_sthlm?

This is who indians are. Doesn't matter if they call themselves Sikh to try to rebrand. Doesn't matter how many 60 year olds they put in front of the camera telling you they are peaceful.
This is who they are. This is what they believe. They want you dead and when one of them murders you in cold blood they celebrate and make up lies to justify it.
Disgusting vile monsters. Get them the fuck out of our countries.
After a major victory, a successful Roman general (often an emperor or imperator) received a triumph: a lavish procession through Rome with troops, spoils of war, captives, and the general riding in a chariot, often dressed like a god (with a laurel crown and face painted red to resemble Jupiter).
A slave rode in the chariot behind the general. His job was to whisper a humbling reminder of mortality: “Memento mori” (“Remember you will die”).
This prevented the Roman from becoming arrogant amid the adulation, as he was treated almost like a god for the day.

Theo Von looked genuinely shaken hearing this on his podcast.
A journalist. Shot in the face by Israeli forces. Clearly marked as press.
Then Israeli soldiers showed up to her funeral and beat the pallbearers with batons and stun grenades.
Multiple human rights organizations concluded she was likely targeted.
Her name was Shireen Abu Akleh.
This was 2022, and most people still don't know the full story.

In France there is a new activity that the Left is getting their knickers in a twist about.
Le Canon Français is running massive banquets. For about £70 you can have great food and drinks and spend time singing patriotic songs.
The “Far Left” is furious.
LFI says it has evidence of racist chanting, and of immigrant staff being insulted. With pork regularly on the menu, they say the feasts are purposely designed to exclude Muslims and vegetarians.
Meanwhile, everyday people who love France, love food and beer are having the time of their lives.
I have been seeing a certain archetypal commenter in the spotlight recently; all women my age, progressive, and employed at mainstream institutions. I don't know them. Yet in every case, I can intuit their origin story.
It goes something like this:
> be an older millennial female, no strong passion, but strive hard in school
> reach High School
> steer clear of the kids who like talking about “far out” philosophical issues
> also steer clear of student government and debate club, which seems too contentious and vaguely threatening
> focus on getting perfect marks, complying with college reqs. Get into top uni based on those marks
> get introduced to politics in freshmen social justice class, instantly floored
> the appeal of college politics is just how cut-and-dried it is. Unlike other fields, it has a clear “good” and “bad” side, no ambiguity. The “good” side always wins in classroom discussions, you feel like a hero for validating consensus with "The Conversation"
> politics becomes your religion, “this is my passion!”
> graduate with top marks and recs. Your degree is essentially in “Current Thing-ism”. Have no broad understanding of history or philosophy.
> Your concept of human events is just people being oppressed for 4000 years until feminism and progress happened in the 20th c.
> despite the Global Financial Crisis, immediately get hired by a government/media org because they want someone who “understands the role of female politics in our new digital era!”
> most of your colleagues share your perspective, the ones who don't are older guys on their way to retirement, not looking for the confrontation that disagreeing with you would certainly involve.
> great awokening happens, double down on Current-Thingism politics
> organe-man-bad and COVID happens, triple down on politics.
> you are 15 years deep in your career, you have never once genuinely engaged with a peer who didn't validate your worldview or who you didn't consider a "token" opposition to placade your political enemies
> vibe shift happens, establishment uncertain, time to have a "conversation" with the people you've considered deplorable
> have conversation, hear non-progressive opinion that is common in the modern world, historically ubiquitous
> react with schock, umbrage horror. "Can you even believe this is happening?"
> confident that non-progressive opinion is trivially easy to refute, somehow have no idea how to actually refute it
> unaware just how deeply you have been betrayed by your education, such that the average educated man on the street has more practical understanding of what politics is than you do with decades of "experience."
Hello Mr. Hunter Biden,
You're getting six-digit likes on every post lately. I don't have any hope to ratio you or whatever through traditional "Hello" means.
But for those uninitiated, those who are captivated by your fake-humble persona obviously PR-engineered to capture unsuspecting disaffected Republicans:
You are not some humility, witty guy turning over a new leaf. You are the ultimate proof of nepotism, everything that the so-called "Epstein Class" is supposed to represent.
Let me explain - off the top of my head.
You were a board member of USGLC. U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. The most powerful NGO that nobody's ever heard of. Last year, I documented in several threads, how Liz Schrayer, USGLC lead, took credit for ramming through a 90 billion dollar bill for Ukraine in 2024, even as @mattvanswol demonstrated that Western North Carolina got zero help in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene because FEMA threw up their hands and said they ran out of funds.
USGLC, arguably, is the most powerful NGO that nobody has ever heard of. It includes a bunch of corporations, a bunch of nonprofit leads, and ... for some magical reason, I documented, extensively, linked, that Liz Schrayer started pursuing you in 2012. During the Obama years, when you were Biden's son. Are you a former Secretary of State? No. Are you a CEO of a Fortune 500 company? No. That puts you below the average USGLC board member, by a good tier.
So what DID get you on USGLC? The only reason: that you were the son of a sitting Vice President known for corruption, and you yourself were known for corruption.
You are not "folksy." You are the worst of the worst of the elite. Most of the elite, at least, get their credentials through Georgetown/George Washington/Harvard Kennedy. You got yours purely on nepotism. Any photographs you have of yourself at motels is proof that you are so incompetent that you waste all your money, not that you come from humble beginnings. Because others like @MarcoPolo501c3 have thoroughly documented that you benefited a great deal from your nepotism.
You even tried to bait those in with saying you prefer to keep immigration "legal" - but we all know the trap that keeps illegal immgrants here: outlaw deportations, and make every immigrant case "asylum", and magically, everyone who might've been here illegally a few years ago is legal.
You may get 175K likes on your semi-subverting, PR-designed photographs. But those of us who know, know you're fake.

What most pagans think is Christianity is actually an effeminate, cucked, pathetic, and entirely modern liberal and/or Zionist cult that calls itself Christianity. I hate it just as much as you do.
You took a Covid shot and almost died, Colin. And then you kept quiet about it, despite the fact that your experience had the ability to protect others. I’ll take my method over yours, thanks.
🚨🇺🇸BREAKING: The CIA officer caught with $40 million in gold bars allegedly invented an entire fake top-secret spy program to steal the money.
As if this story couldn't get and wilder:
-David Rush allegedly built a sham "special access program," the blackest box in U.S. intelligence, so secret even top-clearance officials couldn't look inside without authorization
-The fake program posed as "continuity of government" work, the doomsday planning that keeps Washington running after a nuclear war
-He allegedly read in two colleagues as unwitting accomplices and used a made-up government contract to funnel millions, persuading a defense contractor to buy huge amounts of gold
-The FBI raid on his home seized 303 gold bars worth roughly $40 million, $2 million in cash, and 35 luxury watches
-Investigators say he lied about his college degrees, faked being a Navy pilot, and still sailed through the CIA's notoriously brutal vetting
-A judge ordered him held as a flight risk, and several CIA officials are now on leave as the probe widens
The scheme worked because of the system, not in spite of it.
The secrecy walls built to hide operations from China and Russia hid the fraud from the CIA itself.
A man with a fake résumé ran a fake doomsday program inside the most paranoid institution in America, and for years nobody noticed...
