@orielgirl1 @RTERadio1 Yes, 1850, 1890, 076 & 0818 numbers are Irish Republic non-geographic phone numbers. When called from within the Irish Republic, calls to those numbers are treated the same as calling an Irish landline number and included in allowances in the same way.

@orielgirl1 @RTERadio1 Since 1 December 2019, all calls to 1850, 1890, 076 & 0818 numbers are included in allowances on the same basis as calls to landline numbers, or otherwise charged at the same rate as a call to a landline number.
On 1 January 2022, all 1850, 1890 & 076 numbers will cease to exist.

@hellsbells229 @mrjamesob @LBC LBC changed their telephone number at least several years ago.
The premium rate 0845 number was replaced by an inclusive 0345 number.
Calls to all 03 numbers are treated exactly the same as calling an 01 or 02 number.

@Inspire2E Why is this service on a premium rate 0844 number costing up to 70p per minute? This is a disincentive for people to call.
Do you really need the 4p per minute revenue that can be raised from the 5p per minute Service Charge element?
We urge a change of number, perhaps to 0344.

The free 111 number is now available throughout Wales. In some areas of Wales it is the full "111 Wales" service which has replaced NHS Direct Wales. In other Welsh areas , 111 is just for Coronavirus enquiries.

The best advice seems to be to preferentially call 111 because those calls are always free.
If 111 is NOT available in your area, an announcement will tell you to hang up and re-dial 0845 4647.

@THEBONDIGIRL @Qantas If this is an enquiry about a booking that has already been made, QANTAS are breaking the law. It is ILLEGAL for a premium rate 084, 087 or 09 number to be in operation for after-sales enquiries. The law REQUIRES the illegal call charges to be refunded.

@gaggims2 @Plusnet Usage of premium rate 084 and 087 numbers is now banned for very many purposes. Before calling one of these numbers, please check the official website for the correct telephone number and check to see if an inclusive 01, 02 or 03 number or free 080 number is available instead.
