@Isabell87901065 In my Bachelor Thesis I worked with the cultivation of Dunaliella Salina for the production of carotenes. They contained even more than 1 wt% carotenes but it was quite a challenge to cultivate them in a continuous process :D
@GabbyElvir10@wilkins_ns@IntAdsSoc Hi Gabriela, nice work! Do you have an idea which effect decreased the adsorption capacities for higher pyrolysis temperatures? Especially the low capacity after a treatment at 900 Β°C is surprising.
@hersonglez@IntAdsSoc Hello Herson, that's an interesting research topic! May I ask at which temperature you performed the adsorption and desorption. Also can you tell me why you chose the concentration of 0.075 M NaOH for desorption?
@NinfaSol1 Hello Ninfa, natural products tend to change in their properties from batch to batch. Did you observe significant differences and if yes, how did they influence the adsorption capacity?
@njcorrente Hello @njcorrente, it's great to see how good you can predict the adsorption stress. Can you expand your model to multicomponent mixtures and other types of adsorption isotherms?
@NinfaSol1 Hello @NinfaSol1, nice work! Could you explain the two different adsorption behaviours for a pyrolisis at 600Β°C and 2h in the first plot of your results to me?
@rafa_morales90@IntAdsSoc Interesting work. May I ask on which assumptions did you fix the flow rate? Does its choice affect your optimal solid/gas ratio?
@IsabelMoritz Hey Isabel, I see that you still determine a negative loading for HCP-3. Did you find an explanation for this result? Is it cause by a varying moisture content of the adsorbent?
