the people who did this walk among us. we are rehabilitating those in the biden admin who facilitated this already. the trump admin is continuing it. the triggermen get to roam our streets and those who demand accountability for this heinous crime are treated like criminals.
This leaves no doubt: Netanyahu and Trump have agreed to pursue the ethnic cleansing of Gaza together. The Somaliland deal should be understood in that context.
So: Trump bombed the hell out of Somalia out of public view for a year, paving the way for imperial Israel to move to breaking it up with an eye to expelling Palestinians to a breakaway section.
And when his attacks got a bit of coverage, Trump tried to reframe it as an immigration issue to pretend to be “America First”. #InterestingTiming
This video is a microcosm of how October 7 has been discussed and deliberately misframed.
If the Palestinian man had reacted at all, even in basic self-defense, the Israeli would’ve shot him on the spot and faced little to no consequence. That asymmetry is the operating reality; it’s not hypothetical.
What this footage captures is only a drop in an ocean of violence Palestinians have been subjected to for nearly eight decades. Yet when October 7 happened, the focus wasn’t on the daily, structural violence that preceded it (the settler who runs someone over, the soldier who humiliates, or the system that enables it all). Instead, the focus was placed squarely on the Palestinian who reacts, as if reaction exists in a vacuum.
That’s what this video exposes. One side’s permitted to brutalize, terrorize, and endanger lives in full view of the world, while the other’s expected to endure it quietly. If they don’t, they’re killed and then blamed for their own death.
This picture reminds me of when I was in Hebron three years ago, a Muslim bus driver brought his rug and prayed peacefully, and then a Jewish settler came out of nowhere and assaulted him.
After the incident, I was shocked and asked the bus driver how he was doing, and he described the occasion as a regular occurrence for many Palestinians in the West Bank, and they are not allowed even to lift a finger back at the settler assaulters because if they do, the Israeli soldiers in the background would make sure they'll either risk ending up in Israeli prisons or be killed.
Witnessing Jewish settler terrorism firsthand definitely gave me new perspectives on aspects of the evils of the Israeli occupation I had not seen much in the media before, but nevertheless are seen as "normal" for Palestinians living under the occupation.
American media outlets consistently invite Israeli soldiers, officers, and politicians on as guests but almost never have any guests who are Palestinian
Deliberate blackout of testimonies like these
In the space of a week Israel has:
* Falsely accused Iran of being behind the Bondi Beach attack
* Falsely accused Iran of killing an MIT nuclear scientist
* Accused Iran of preparing to attack it, which the US has called false
* Commanded its Western operatives in media and politics to begin talking up an Iranian threat
Now Netanyahu is planning to return to Washington to lobby for an attack on Iran
Israel and its proxies in the West, including in Congress and on social media, are aggressively attempting to drag the US into a major war with Iran
Totally unrelated note, here’s Ghislaine Maxwell bragging about flying a Blackhawk helicopter in Colombia and firing rockets at guerillas, and pics of her with Colombia’s President in 2000 who bought 30 Blackhawk helicopters from Bill Clinton’s admin
tire dust is it's 28% of ocean microplastics and nobody talks about it
six million tonnes annually. just from tires on asphalt. particles wash into waterways, accumulate in fish, enter the food chain, end up in your blood
we regulate tailpipe emissions (the car industry had catalytic converters to sell).
nobody's selling tire solutions so nobody's lobbying for tire standards
yes, asian and african rivers produce 95% of ocean plastic but nobody asks where the plastic comes from.
plastic recycling is a scam. always has been.
the industry knew since 1974 it “cant be justified economically”
they funded the recycling campaigns anyway because the alternative was banning plastic.
only 5-6% of US plastic actually gets recycled and europe isnt better.
the EU exports 1.1 million tonnes of plastic waste per year, 3 million kg leaving every single day.
31% goes to turkey, 16% to malaysia, 13% to indonesia, all labeled “recyclable”
most plastics cant even be recycled to begin with (thousands of types, different chemical properties). and for the few that can, the output is lower quality and more toxic than virgin plastic.
you literally degrade the material each cycle until its worthless.
so what happens to the other 95%?
western countries ship it to southeast asia and africa under the label “recycling exports” with the receiving countries promising to recycle it in their stead for a price, but those countries dont have facilities either. so they burn it or dump it in rivers.
every 20 minutes, a 10-tonne truckload of plastic enters the ocean in indonesia alone.
it may look like indonesians pollute more but that’s because we ship them our garbage and they have no infrastructure to handle it.
china used to absorb it all. when they banned imports in 2018, the west just redirected to countries with weaker regulations. malaysia, vietnam, philippines. the map below shows the result.
you sort your trash so you feel like youre helping, the plastic goes on a boat, gets burned in a village without emissions controls, poisons their air and water, flows into their rivers, enters the ocean, and in your food and water.
you feel good about the plastic you recycled and never think about it again but you end up eating it anyway.
then we ban straws and plastic bags and call it environmentalism
In this video, you can watch Border Patrol cause an accident with a US citizen, refuse to help him, and then ultimately arrest him for asking for their insurance. They locked up him, but then released him with no charges. Again only because he had video.
I've been an animal rescuer for a long damn time and let me tell you something...working dogs do not do this unless they have been trained, explicitly, to do this.
Every bit of this is deliberate. They are training dogs to attack children.
people talk about cops getting worse, and they definitely are, but that 91% number from 1965 has to be so badly inflated with poor people and minorities the cops and courts just railroaded into prisons. you’ll never convince me 1965 cops were *correctly* solving 9/10 murders
