Please. If I say something inappropriate, bigoted, or even something just incorrect, feel free to bring it to my attention so I can improve myself.
Thank you.
We've lost a true pioneer of the digital world, Kevin Mitnick. His ingenuity challenged systems, incited dialogues, and pushed boundaries in cybersecurity. He will remain a testament to the uncharted power of curiosity. #RIPKevinMitnick
MYTH: We don't have a solution to nuclear's "waste problem"
REALITY: Nuclear waste isn't a problem. In fact, it’s the best solution we have to meeting our energy needs while protecting the natural environment!
Here's what you need to know:
lukewarm take almost 100% of “gifted” students are neurodivergent (particularly autistic but other conditions as well) and that seemingly universal “gifted kid burnout” is just plain ole autistic burnout
If there’s incorrect info or a substantial risk, definitely say something! But be cautious about telling people not to do things because of extreme edge cases, when the alternatives aren’t readily accessible for less techy folks.
I see a lot of very well-meaning folks being really pedantic about cybersecurity and privacy recommendations for vulnerable groups right now. Like, someone recommends a measure then they “what if”. I’d caution not to let perfect be the enemy of good. Solutions must be accessible.
I really need neurotypical people to understand that one interruption, even if it's 'only' a 30 second interruption, is enough to derail the entire day of a person with ADHD if you do it when we've finally managed to get focused on a task.
I have a million dollar idea for an app. I don't know how to code, but I'm prepared to give you 50% if you make it.
