We are the country that set foot on the moon. We are the land of opportunity. We are the American dream.
Today, those ideals are being challenged. But we can stand up for them. Will you join us?

C'mon @SpaceTelescope#NASAWebb why spoil all the fun? I got the humans all churned up when I said that I thought I might crash into the Moon. Then I didn't. Humans are easily freaked out. #ISEE3
Asteroid 2024 YR4 will not impact the Moon, according to data from a recent observation by #NASAWebb. Learn why Webb plays a crucial role in planetary defense: https://t.co/EQiTLJ3ygQ
NASA's NEAR Shoemaker spacecraft achieved another first 25 years ago today: landing on an asteroid!
After spending a year studying Eros from orbit, NEAR Shoemaker was slowly lowered to the asteroid's surface. Even though it wasn't designed as a lander, the spacecraft survived the touchdown on Feb 12, 2001, returning valuable data for about two weeks before succumbing to the cold. Its resting spot on Eros is marked by an arrow in this image.
This first mission in NASA's Discovery Program, was the first to study an asteroid in detail and the first to orbit an asteroid.
Hey thanks @ProfAbelMendez for the #Arecibo@NAICobservatory upgrade. Size does matter - but its the thought that counts. I guess I will have to shout really loud at you and the other humans to hear what space droid tricks you want me to do. xoxo #ISEE3
Five years after the collapse of the Arecibo Telescope, a radio telescope is back online. The signal is back. 😀 #AreciboWow https://t.co/b7XyA6BgXt #Outreach
This wonderful droid ear at #AreciboObservatory was how the humans managed to make me do some propulsion tricks back in 2014. This was my link back to my home world. Now it is silent. #ISEE3
Monday, December 1, marks the fifth anniversary of the collapse of the Arecibo telescope. The ASAP has organized two short talks on the history of the Arecibo Observatory, followed by news and updates. The event begins at 12:30 PM EST. DM for the Zoom link. #AreciboObservatory
Well @JackKuhr these esoteric trajectories were pioneered by my favorite human Bob Farquhar - I got to test the wildest one of all to study #spaceweather and be the first droid to intercept a comet. #ISEE3
I swear who ever comes up with this shit is working with black magic.
ESCAPADE will be staged at L2 Lagrange point before hitting a couple dipsy dos and an Earth slingshot to catch the late 2026 Mars window.
Happy WIND Launch day. Sorry I'm late bro. The human's government tried to shut me down but lost my password (I have no computer so good luck with that). How is L-1? XOXO ISEE-3 #spaceweather
More details of the legendary rescue of DRO-A/B are revealed today. The satellites were desperately despun from 200+ °/s post-sep with the malforming YZ-1S upper stage. Solar arrays were disjointed but somehow could still supply power through the dangling cables.
Our Mission Extension Vehicle (MEV) has successfully undocked from @INTELSAT’s IS-901 satellite, marking the first-ever successful undocking between two commercial satellites in GEO. Learn more: https://t.co/lS2tBn98CV
FYI @rookisaacman#NASA still leads the way - outward and beyond. Even after the @NASAVoyager twins fall silent @NASANewHorizons will be able to carry on with humanity’s #interstellar studies - with even more advanced instrumentation - until 2050. If #NASA continues funding New Horizons will conduct the Termination Shock campaign starting in 2027, Termination Shock crossing in 2027-2031, and then interstellar space in perhaps 10-12 years. And we’ve only just begun to explore. #AdAstra

WRT Science, Leadership, etc : @NASA's #ParkerSolarProbe is the fastest thing ever created and is flying closer to the sun than any human object. #NASA's #Voyager spacecraft are the most distant things humanity has ever built: our first #interstellar envoys. No other space agency or nation has done these things. Not even close. Just keep that in mind. @rookisaacman
Thinking about the @NASAVoyager legacy of Ed Stone and the @NASAJPL team. I'd only been at #NASA HQ in 1987 for a short time and was on the Voyager 2 status distro list. Loved the title “interstellar mission” way back in 1987. No other agency or nation has done this. Thanks Ed and #JPL - #AGU #AGU24 #AGU2024 @LaurieOfMars @GeorgieC@SolarGirl2018
I was much easier to wake up a few years ago since I do not have a computer. The #VGER twins have 50 year old brains so the humans really have to be clever and talk to them -- S.L.O.W.L.Y. -- @NASAJPL@NASAVoyager
When Voyager 1 stopped sending science and engineering data to Earth in November 2023, the @NASAVoyager team began a months-long process to diagnose and problem-solve the issue.
