Pakistan condemns in the strongest possible terms the deliberate and unlawful incursion into Pakistan by drones on 23 September 2026, launched from Afghan territory. This constitutes a blatant violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and is a grave and unacceptable act of aggression.

For years, Pakistan has repeatedly conveyed its grave concerns to the Afghan Taliban regime and its interlocutors regarding the continued presence of terrorist sanctuaries and their support networks on Afghan soil. Instead of dismantling these networks and taking credible and verifiable action against those using Afghan territory to perpetrate terrorism against Pakistan, the Afghan Taliban regime has chosen to escalate the situation through hostile drone operations against Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Air Defence systems detected, tracked and neutralised all intruding platforms before they could reach any of their intended targets, comprehensively thwarting the attempted attack. In exercise of its sovereign right to self-defence, Pakistan conducted precision aerial and drone strikes against 10 locations in Afghanistan used for launching and storing these drones. The strikes were deliberate, precise, calibrated and proportionate and strictly limited to identified military objectives directly linked to the attempted attacks against Pakistan.

Pakistan will neither accept nor tolerate attacks launched from Afghan territory, whether by terrorist groups or by the Afghan Taliban regime itself. Any violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty will be met with an immediate and decisive response. Threats, denials or attempts to deflect responsibility by Afghan Taliban will neither alter the facts nor constrain Pakistan’s inherent right to defend its territory, its people and its national security.

Pakistan calls upon the Afghan Taliban regime to immediately cease all hostile activity against Pakistan and fulfil its international obligations by taking effective, concrete, verifiable and sustained action against terrorist entities operating from Afghan soil. Afghan territory must not be used to launch attacks or conduct hostile operations against Pakistan.

Pakistan does not seek escalation and remains committed to regional peace, dialogue and constructive engagement. This commitment must not be mistaken for weakness or an unlimited tolerance of hostile actions. Pakistan will defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity and the lives of its citizens with full resolve and will take all necessary measures to protect them. Any further provocative act by Afghan Taliban will be responded with firm and resolute response.

45 billion reached 4.5 million families (2.5 crore people) at their doorsteps, quietly easing burdens and restoring dignity.

🛑 Direct Aid:
45000 families received Rs 10,000 through 'Maryam Ko Batayn' (Rs 430 million total). ensuring no call for help went unanswered.

🛑 Dastarkhwans:
Around 1.3 lac people served daily at Iftar Dastarkhwans at 422 locations across Punjab. Over 4 million people fed with care, and not a single incident of stampede or mismanagement.

🛑 Rigorous Price Controls:
For perhaps the first time at this scale and magnitude, prices of essential items remained firmly under control across Punjab, bringing real relief to every household. NO food inflation during the month of Ramadan.

🛑 Sahulat Bazars:
With seamless and uninterrupted supply chains, 75 beautiful and vibrant Ramadan Bazars, offering essential items at affordable rates, welcomed 555,000 citizens every single day.

🛑 Inclusion:
157,000+ Christian families received Rs 10,000 each for Lent via Minority Cards.

Behind every number is a family at ease, a prayer answered, a heart at peace.

The surge in international oil prices amid ongoing global crises has led to a significant increase in petrol and diesel costs in Pakistan.

To safeguard our farmers, all wheat-growing farmers in Punjab with landholdings of up to 25 acres will receive a diesel subsidy of 10 litres per acre at Rs. 150 per litre.

I stand firmly with each one of you and am personally overseeing the implementation of this subsidy to ensure it remains transparent, effective, and reaches every deserving farmer without delay.

Our farmers are the backbone of Punjab. I will always stand by you, protecting your rights and strengthening your livelihoods, Insha’Allah.
