It is recommended to use رضي الله عنه for the Companions,as well as for the Tabi’in, scholars, and other righteous people.The view that رضي الله عنه is exclusively for the Companions is incorrect.

@The_One1001 @lebkitt Read what ibn Hajar said about him. Also when ibn Nasir al din al dimashqi compiled 80-90 scholars contemporary to ibn taymiyah and abit later calling him sheikh al Islam. Not to mention his positions are authoritative in the Hanbali school and every hanbali that lived after him
