If you want to know the power of anti-Islam media propaganda, consider the following.

Traditional Judaism holds that Prophet Isaac married Rebecca at 3 and consummated the marriage when she was 6.

Traditional Hinduism holds that the god Krishna married Rukmini and consummated the marriage immediately when she was 8.

Traditional Christianity holds that God made Mary pregnant when she was around 12.

Traditional Islam holds that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ married Aisha radiAllah `anha at 6 and consummated the marriage when she was 9.

There is nothing surprising in this. Minor marriage practices were common in the past and only began to be stigmatized in the nineteenth century.

Nevertheless, the media only mentions the case of Muhammad ﷺ in order to stigmatize Islam and Muslims. This is because Islam is the only one of these religions that has refused to be liberalized and dominated by secularism.
