I created a #App to help people who suffer from #mutism to give them a voice to speak. #AutismAcceptance#MentalHealthMatters If you know anyone who struggles with this, #Please_Share I can’t help them without your #support. Thank you to anyone that does.x https://t.co/H5nUgecGkc
At SMA, we are committed to helping stop the silence around Selective Mutism 365 days a year, and we welcome you to become a member and aid us in this cause.
If you love someone with Selective Mutism, feel free to share this post to your page and give us a tag! ❤️
@thinkingautism @ElaineMcgreevy@KQED For anyone that struggles with mutism or knows someone that does, i created MutismFriend2. It works on the iPhone and the iPad. Please don’t let yourself or others suffer in silence. Have a voice to speak. I hope this helps. https://t.co/H5nUgecGkc #ActuallyAutistic#ASD#ADHD
An important aspect of neurodiversity for bosses to understand is 'good & bad days' - you can be mega-productive one day & get nothing done the next, but overall still be excellent at your job
(Also, why micro-mgmt doesn't work & why adj's need to take account of good & bad days)
@FindTheirVoices https://t.co/H5nUgecGkc having apps like this can provide an effective method of communication to help with their struggles. No one should have to live in silence. 🤗
The Selective Mutism Questionnaire is a caregiver-report questionnaire that assesses the frequency of SM symptoms over two weeks, in three domains: at school, in home/family environments, and in community/social settings.

Hello Brains! I’m REALLY excited for this livestream. Dr. Sharon Saline is THE expert on #ADHD & #Anxiety and she’s offered to come answer YOUR questions about it! Hope to see you there!
This week, the UK Government announced a new 5-year #SuicidePrevention strategy. Importantly, autistic people are recognised as a high-risk group. This is a huge step forward, but more still needs to be done.

Liam, since the age of 11, has been in a battle against cancer. Despite being given the all-clear months ago, it has returned and is now terminal. This is a heartbreaking story, but Liam is determined to enjoy every single moment. If you can, please help support Liam and his family:

I started this petition to ensure that others did not face the same challenges I faced at university. I expected only a thousand signatures. I've been overwhelmed by all your support. It has also inspired others to act across the UK. Thank you! ❤️

Good luck to everyone going back
to or starting school for the first
time, if your child's autistic and
relies on routine all the changes
today may be difficult keep tonight
the same, don't introduce any new changes tonight. Don't ask lots of questions. Do make sure there's an area for your child to retreat and unwind to ,all autistic children are different, and the advice will vary from child to child.
@npaa_uk@au_pis_aller@autismbucks1@autismtalknd Thank you npaa_uk. I sincerely appreciate your retweet too. I genuinely want to help others who struggle as I as well as my son have both experienced the difficulties of having #selectivemutism I want to give those who struggle with it a voice. #communication is important for all
