ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಬಣ್ಣ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ನಡುರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಯಲಾಗಿದೆ!
ವಿಜಯನಗರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15ರ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಲು ನನಗೆ 'ಸಮಯವಿಲ್ಲ', ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅದರಿಂದ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಎಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ @BZZameerAhmedK ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ! ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಚುನಾವಣೆ, ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯುಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಇವರು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಲಜ್ಜೆಗೆಟ್ಟ ನೆಪ!

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜ ಹಾರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳು ಈ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಬ್ಬ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಸಚಿವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಂದು ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಧ್ವಜಕ್ಕೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪಕ್ಷ ರಾಜಕೀಯವೇ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಯಿತೇ? ಸಚಿವ ಜಮೀರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಬಲಿದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪವಿತ್ರ ತ್ರಿವರ್ಣ ಧ್ವಜಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ದಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರಗಳೇ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಅಹಂಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಿರೋಧಿ ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿ @INCIndia ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ರಕ್ತಗತವಾಗಿದೆ. @RahulGandhi ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹಿ ಧೋರಣೆಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ತಂತ್ರವೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಎನ್ನುವ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ನಿಷ್ಠೆ ಎಂಥದ್ದು ಎಂಬುದು ಈಗ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗಿದೆ.

ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜ ಹಾರಿಸುವುದನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು 'ಹೊರೆ' ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವ ಇಂತಹ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುವ ನೈತಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಅರ್ಹತೆಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ @DKShivakumar ಅವರೇ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಿಂಚಿತ್ತಾದರೂ ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮ ಅನ್ನೋದು ಇದ್ದರೆ ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಜಮೀರ್ ಅಹಮದ್ ಖಾನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪುಟದಿಂದ ವಜಾ ಮಾಡಿ!

ದೇಶಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿರುವ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜನತೆಯ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಾಚಿಸಬೇಕು.

Does Rahul Gandhi think the people of our state are 'idiots'?

For two months now, CM @DKShivakumar, former CM @siddaramaiah, and KPCC President B.K. Hariprasad have been standing outside his door with a list of MLAs they want made ministers. Every day they are sent back and told to ‘come tomorrow’. The people of Karnataka watching this are asking whether these leaders were elected to govern the state, or to stand like Three Idiots outside the @INCIndia high command's door?

When the people's chosen leaders are made to wait outside a private residence like this, what should the people of Karnataka understand from this? They elected these leaders to govern Karnataka, not to warm the doorstep of Rahul Gandhi's house. This is an insult to every Kannadiga.

What kind of leaders have these turned out to be? They walked around claiming massive public support, boasting that they won on their own strength. And yet look at them now: standing with folded hands before the Nehru family's scion, shoulders hunched, a forced smile on their face, a file clutched to their chest, waiting outside his door. It is genuinely disheartening to watch the First Citizen of our state reduced to guarding somebody else's doorstep.

Here in Karnataka, the rooms of Vidhana Soudha have been waiting for Ministers. But the ministerial aspirants are stuck waiting at your doorstep in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi. Even the blank line on that cabinet list must be tired of waiting for a name by now. The Chief Minister keeps flying to Delhi, only to knock on a door that won't open. Perhaps it's time the Congress high command remembered that Karnataka voted for a government, not for a waiting room outside 10, Janpath.
