Also, Elon card goes for $2K, Trump for $300, Elon/Bezos card for $270, Barrack for $125, Wayne and Garth for $100, the Beatles for $100.....Chamath's card is still more valuable than Jerry Springer who I got for $35
@chamath@DavidSacks@theallinpod@Jason@friedberg Is Chamath honored or upset about this? Is he more upset that they added 50 lbs to him or that he isn't wearing an $8K sweater. Don't worry, I negotiated the guy down from $70 to $56 for it.
My biggest losers (granted I sold others for capital gains losses) currently are:
$CLPT - entered position 25 months ago
$STEM - entered position 10 months ago
$U - entered position 7 months ago
$CRWD - entered position 31 months ago
How long do others typically give?
Have built up positions in the following companies in the past 5 months in my 3 favorite categories of companies. Now looking for new ones in the same categories to look at....any suggestions?
$RICK - small gap growth
$INDI - small cap semiconductor
$LOW - dividend growth
The Semiconductor Value Chain
We have created an infographic explaining the complex industry dynamics of semiconductor manufacturing, showing how key players like $TSM, $NVDA, $ASML, $TXN, and $CDNS fit into the ecosystem:
@LiebermanAustin I think you have looked at $BKSY in the past. Have you looked at their recent execution and any opinion on it? I am an owner of it, but trying to get more opinions.
Looking for insight on small-caps/nano-caps to round out my portfolio. Looking at:
$ABXXF (already own)
$MTEK
$GBCS
$CVU
$VTSI
$BKSY
Any opinions on any of these. Leaning towards $MTEK or $ABXXF Very interested in points of view
@FIREDUpWealth $HIMX - you know semis extremely well. this pays a monster yearly dividend. seems to be in a growing space of focus and revenue is growing, yet the stock price is back to where it was pre the big run up in revenue
@finding_value_ Super interesting. We have used one of their key products and it is good/better than others. Just don't get the falling revenue. I might have just missed that maybe they are going from a 1 time pricing model to a subscription model, but haven't figured that out yet with $LUMN
I have a decent amount of money to pile into some dividend stocks this week. What should I pile it into:
$LOW
$TXN
$RICK
$TSM
$BYLOF
$CUBE
$EGP
$WSO
$ASML
$WMT
Something else? #dividends#passiveincome
@FIREDUpWealth First, let me thank you for posting what you post. You have a similar philosphy and like similar companies. Glad to find you and your youtube channel. $UPST really tricky. Have talked to banking insiders who don't believe it, but are they just hating disruption?
Start to really appreciate dividends when:
1) It can cover an unexpected bill; then
2) It can cover vacation; then
3) It can cover yearly car payments; then
4) It can cover yearly mortgage; then
5) It can cover yearly college tuition

Dividend Stocks I am putting money into in '23:
1) $RICK: believe in the business model and cash flow
2) $LOW: like the industry and low pay-out ratio
3) $EGP: love the parts of the country they are focused
4) $TXN: don't bet against this CEO
5) $LLY: people need their drugs
@JonahLupton You and your team honestly do good work. Always bring a perspective that I wouldn't consider and your write-ups always make me think and smarter.
Best things about investing:
1) Even though there is always someone against your position (a buyer if you are selling, a seller if you are buying)
2) It's like fantasy sports, but for your everyday life.
3) Unlike gambling, if stay invested, $$$ follows
