Years of studying, hardwork, and dedication and being admitted to the top US universities, almost 1000 of Iranian students and researchers are stuck in AP for an average of 10 months.
The stress, disappointment, and uncertainty are becoming unbearable. Despite having the option to secure admissions in other countries, we chose the US for its renowned universities and exceptional research environment. Regrettably, we have forfeited our admissions elsewhere.
While our advisors and universities have been supportive during this prolonged delay, they can't wait any longer, risking our admissions and scholarships. We deserve fair and respectful treatment.
We fully respect the US's national interests in visa issuance and don't seek intervention. However, we implore the authorities to address our concerns and streamline the visa process, alleviating this burden.
