@WSpyrison @kristennp24 @DPEA62 Neither does any other profession right now if you don’t go back you don’t get paid and a lot of families need money to survive. School enables those families to provide for their children
@smurphyscience @Sophiagsteach @DPEA62 I and others feel safe with D62 reopening plan. We should have a choice don’t try to ruin it for people who need a choice.
@Sophiagsteach @DPEA62@GovPritzker We need in person learning children can’t be expected to continue remotely parents should and do have a choice. Special ed students need routine and structure of school.
@Neil_Hope123@judyValerio1@JenRoberts1 You have no childcare what about all the people back to work now school is their child care. People are losing income what about single parents that can’t survive without an income. So they need their kids in school to work. Obviously you also need childcare.
@teachergrind@principalspage@DPEA62 That is ridiculous that you are saying every other profession can and will work except one that is most essential. The government doesn’t need to pay teachers need to go back to work
@teachergrind@principalspage@DPEA62 Since you don’t have children than you don’t understand what it’s like for people to have to give up income because schools saying they won’t open it is not right when daycares are open sports are going on and all other professions are back to work.
@teachergrind@principalspage@DPEA62 I would beg to differ on the teaching remotely here it was a joke not much effort at all put in. If that’s the case that they all go remote they should cut salaries like they did for other companies as well.
