Just saw an email from a US public company communicating that they will be deferring payment of all invoices due in June to a payment in July.

I.e. AP in June will be zero. And two months worth will be paid in July.

A few days or a week is fairly common place, but a month …

That is one hell of a half year cash window dress.

Depending on how successful they are, that is maybe $100m-$200m of cash fluff in the half year numbers.

Makes you wonder what that number is in aggregate across global publicly traded businesses?

Hard Work doesn’t Speak

Growing up, I was surrounded by the core Asian Male work ethic of “Hard Work Speaks for Itself”. Put my head down, don’t stir the pot, do my job, and someone will notice me and reward me.
Key emphasis on the last part - someone will notice me.

And it’s very selfish to assume and expect the audience to figure out your work, guess your expectations, and reward you - if you don’t even tell your story.
