Most of those listed companies derive the vast majority of their revenue from the US and other countries, not the UK. Buying AstraZeneca, HSBC, Shell is not buying the UK….

Although SWR not all to blame here, National Rail have had a shocking record or signal failures, track faults and issues to fix, all with long knock on effects so far this year

@nurky01 @CallumLyon ‘Fairly priced’ is the problem. Most profit insurers make is from investing the premiums, not the premiums themselves. What most people think is ‘fairly priced’ wouldn’t cover various scenarios of having to pay out for accidents.
