@realRodeoGoat@10DowningStreet Hahaha from the US of course. A country with no respect, power and that’s run by Israel, of course you’ll be upset by this. Why don’t you go and open the straight of Hormuz, oh wait.
@DrNo_Reformed@Not_the_Bee@elonmusk Where are you conflating buying publicly traded companies with buying a whole state though? Most of those listed companies derive the vast majority of their revenue from the US and other countries, not the UK. Buying AstraZeneca, HSBC, Shell is not buying the UK….
@DrNo_Reformed@Not_the_Bee Not sure what numbers you’re using to work out that $850bn is anywhere close to 25% of what it would take to buy the UK, a full sovereign nation 😂
@DonovanTim@GBPolitcs All of my trains are the new Arterio trains, hasn’t stopped them being consistently late every day! Although SWR not all to blame here, National Rail have had a shocking record or signal failures, track faults and issues to fix, all with long knock on effects so far this year
@Rozee_12@RulingScholar@TodaysNewsco It absolutely is a place 😂 the City of London aka the Square Mile is a ceremonial county / district, not some kind of independent state & it absolutely is governed by UK Parliament like every other ceremonial county in the UK. Spouting absolute Reddit nonsense.
@nurky01@CallumLyon ‘Fairly priced’ is the problem. Most profit insurers make is from investing the premiums, not the premiums themselves. What most people think is ‘fairly priced’ wouldn’t cover various scenarios of having to pay out for accidents.
@patrickcon63@JohnBurkill@CallumLyon ‘All my life’ followed by ‘26-45’ 😂 19 years isn’t even half a career. Better off focusing on therapy for your PTSD than worrying about the cost of car insurance, if you can’t get out to work I can’t imagine you need a car that often.
@Rozee_12@RulingScholar@TodaysNewsco Another TikTok conspiracy theorist from the US trying to talk to Brits about their own cities 😂 As someone who has worked in the City for 12 years I think I know what I’m talking about.
@osaretin_austin@TheJammo1979@WinnaFC Talking nonsense. Football heritage is European, and 75% of global interest today is European. Look at the state of the countries who support this - most of them are quite literally 3rd world countries that are struggling to prop an economy up, let alone football leagues.
@RulingScholar@Rozee_12@TodaysNewsco Ah, you’re from the US. Makes sense. There’s a minimum quantity of work ethic and brain cells required to work somewhere like the City of London.
