🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES:

Glenn is just 6 months old and extremely frightened. Before arriving at BARC, he was reportedly roaming the area for approximately two weeks.

In the shelter, Glenn has stayed toward the back of his kennel and has been too afraid to walk on leash. Staff have carried him outside and between kennels. When approached outside, he has scurried away, lip-licked and raised his hackles. Once leashed, however, staff were able to pick him up and carry him without needing a muzzle.

Glenn is only 6 months old. He should be learning how to play, walk on a leash and enjoy being someone’s puppy—not lying frozen in the back of a shelter kennel because he’s terrified.

Please foster, adopt, or help find rescue for Glenn. Give this frightened little boy the chance to grow up feeling safe and loved.

She drove for 8 hours just to bring her dog home after learning that he had been taken to a shelter. It turned out her ex-husband had brought the dog there after they broke up.

When the dog saw his owner again, he could barely contain his excitement: barking happily, wagging his tail, running around, and jumping into her arms again and again.

Shelter staff said they rarely see a dog react so intensely when reunited with their owner. Those few moments said everything about how much this reunion meant to him. 💖✨
