@elonmusk Using @Fidelity, today I requested the chance to buy 75 shares at IPO. Probably a small amount to most, but it’s a lot for me.
Brokers don’t usually fulfill these small requests, but Fidelity is going to try.
They can try because SPACEX is making a much larger share available.
@sourpatchlyds@InezFeltscher European airports have a special line for families. French grocery stores had special parking spots for families. Could use some of that here.
@ChrisMartzWX You didn’t pay into anything. They took your SS taxes and bought treasuries. You literally lent them money. And they paid it back at the lowest possible interest rate.
@xnoesbueno We should try the same thing with the drug cartels. Just keep taking out the top guy until no one wants that job and the organization collapses.
@infantrydort “It’s part of my culture to hang child abusers from a nearby tree. So you go on practicing your culture and I will go on practicing mine”
@JulieBorowski There are more factors of rationality in play than just price. You said yourself that they get a dopamine hit when they “believe” they’re getting a big discount.
Try listing it for $60 with a 50% discount.
@Peoples_Pundit I suspect that the American public is not anti-war per sé, but absolutely abhors losing. If the US-Iran match goes well quickly, it will end up being popular.
@RobbThorsen@Cernovich I opened a 529 before I had kids, before I was married, before I had even met my wife.
You can change the beneficiary any time.
If you even think you might have kids open one. Use time to compound the growth.
@TaraBull Zion yeah? Looks like Angels Landing, which is medium distance but steep, especially at the very end. Harrowing if you’re not use to heights.
Even someone in good shape can get these wobbly legs on the way down.
