4th-yr #UVMLarnerMed students participated in backwoods rescue scenarios w/ Stowe Mountain Rescue Squad during an elective course in Winter Wilderness Medicine. The course takes students out into the snowy backcountry to treat injuries caused by winter hiking, skiing & climbing.
