@robinhanson I never see such emails, because I added a Sieve filter that moves all such emails into a clutter folder that I never look at (unless searching). You can also use email aliases and more specific filters to prevent this sort of spam. @ProtonMail makes all this quite easy

Assumptions can simplify a problem, but they can also make it more complex. Especially in #programming, when you find that you have to consider many edge cases, you might be able to simplify things by solving the more general version of your problem.
