@_annaogorzalek Cantonese is the language in the Guang Dong province, which is a costal area where tai-feng or toi-fung is rather common each summer.

@_annaogorzalek In Chinese, it is called 台(tai)风(feng). The first character is the same as Taiwan (台湾), but it is not because we think it is from Taiwan. The original word is from Cantonese, a popular dialect in China. It is called Toi Fung (sounds like tai feng), which means strong wind.
