Their protest began as an attack on Digital ID but within minutes people were throwing accusations of baby killers, saying there are "600,000" dead, and then a declaration that Gaza is "worse than the Holocaust" and the Nazis "killed fewer children".
Anti-Semitism is now a convuluted cesspit that aligns conspiracy theorists, bigots, anti-Israel propagandists and Islamists.
It is a fight we all must confront, Jew, non-Jew, Israeli and Brit.
However angry I feel about Labour's self-serving conduct on Middle East policy, it's dwarfed by my disgust towards fascistic liars like this prick Chikli. No, Shabana Mahmood is not an "Islamist". Chikli is a cynical racist and I hope Israelis turf him and his sick government out
What a day to be Israeli:
A muslim pilot tried to crash their plane. Then they landed in Saudi Arabia, where Muslims took care of them.
Thank God they landed in Saudi Arabia. Imagine landing in Spain, the Netherlands or Ireland. The local “progressives” would probably demand they declare they’re not Zionists before handing them a glass of water.
This man is a hero.
Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian captain of flydubai Flight 1073, fought back after being stabbed in the cockpit.
Despite being severely injured, he managed to unlock the cockpit door - allowing Israeli passengers and the Emirati crew to intervene and save all the passengers.
Together, their extraordinary courage saved 174 lives.
Indian. Israeli. Emirati.
Different nationalities. One extraordinary act of courage. 🇮🇳🇮🇱🇦🇪
We wish Captain Machchhar a full and speedy recovery.
An “incident” is when you legitimise Iran’s murderous regime by shaking the hand of their foreign minister.
A “terrorist attack” is when someone tries to down an airliner.
The British Foreign Secretary really ought to know this.
Try this: ‘Gaza’s government were Muslim supremacist jihadists, backed and trained by expansionist Muslim-imperialist dictatorships, who invaded Israel during a ceasefire, accompanied by thousands of other Gazans. They murdered everyone they could find, shot hundreds of unarmed young people with machine guns at a music festival as they fled, stole Israeli children, babies and holocaust survivors from their homes after slaughtering their relatives in front of them, raped women next to the corpses of their friends, desecrated dead girls’ bodies in the streets as large crowds shrieked ‘allahu akhbar’ and spat on them, beheaded people with garden implements and burnt entire families to death.
The Gazans recorded the entire thing, made phone calls saying stuff like ‘dad, mum, you’ll be so proud of how many Jews I killed’, and repeatedly and furiously vowed to do the same thing over and over until they’d conquered and annihilated the entire state of Israel.
The Gazan jihadists then stole hundreds of captives, held them in dark tunnels while torturing and killing them, rigged up almost every building in Gaza - mostly built on top of those tunnels (which Gaza’s government used billions of dollars in aid to dig) - with bombs and explosives, and hid in schools and civilian infrastructure and shrieked ‘GENOCIDE’ before Israel had even responded, but while continuing to launch rockets en masse into Israel, along with neighbouring jihadist death cults, promising to destroy Israel, and refusing to surrender.
Israel was forced to respond, which it did, sacrificing hundreds and hundreds of its own young people to try and ensure the war was as targeted as possible and taking great pains to keep the number of civilian deaths as low as possible in the almost impossible circumstances.
While they did this, I - Mario - devoted my time to spreading moronic deeply morally suspect slop-style propaganda on the internet aimed at getting clicks from people who support the jihadists and hate Jews.
Much of the rest of the world behaved similarly. At the same time, far deadlier conflicts - such as the mass murder of Iranian protesters by Muslim fanatics, or the genocide of African Christians by Muslim groups, or the mass murder of hundreds of thousands of people by Muslim groups in Darfur - were almost entirely ignored by everyone who claimed to be horrified by the Israeli response to the war waged by Palestinians in Gaza.
We tried and succeeded in painting Gaza as the victim and Israel as a uniquely evil state in world history, but Israelis were not willing to simply give up and let themselves and their country be annihilated.’
Bernard-Henri Lévy @BHL was in Rwanda 🇷🇼. He's been to Sudan 🇸🇩. There were no ceasefires. No evacuation corridors. No warnings before the killing.
He's spent his LIFE studying this.
Yes, Gaza is terrible. But you can't call it a genocide.
@CEO4TAG I hope you’re aware of how the fans feel! Not a single person who sits near us or anyone else I know who goes to games enjoys the ‘experience’ as much as we used to. Please drop the goal music at least! Then let’s talk ticketing…
A few thoughts regarding the ongoing debate about the atmosphere at Selhurst.
I understand the club wanting to appeal to as wide a selection of people as possible when it comes to matchdays but that doesn’t mean we should move away from what makes Palace unique.
The Premier League is, by even the most basic standards a “global” product but that doesn’t automatically mean we have to do things that ensure we become cookie-cutter copies of other sporting institutions. I wouldn’t go to La Bombonera to watch Boca and expect Bovril and fans singing about the referee being a wanker, I’d want to soak up what makes Boca “Boca”. That’s intoxicating, that’s why it’s a Bucket List venue for so many because it knows exactly what it is and makes no apologies for it.
I love US sports too and enjoy the various traditions that exist within the huge array of fan-bases over there, it doesn’t mean I’d want it here. It’s theirs, it’s what feels natural to them, that’s the whole point.
If you want to attract a wider global audience to Palace, leaning into what makes us different from the rest is for me, the best way to go about that. Football is the most popular sport on earth, that isn’t going to change any time soon; with our club at its most recognisable point as a consequence of our recent trophy wins, it’s surely best to keep on reminding those who are now giving us a closer look what Palace are and always have been about, rather than trying to imitate others and fade into the background in the process?
Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings.
Brenda Power is a rare voice of moral clarity amongst the Irish commentariat on this issue. In under a minute she eviscerates Ireland’s hypocrisy.
‘There wasn’t a single peep of protest to the Irish cricket team voluntarily playing Afghanistan last month, where women are treated worse than battery chickens. It is the most extreme humanitarian crisis in the world right now, as far as I can see, the gender apartheid in Afghanistan. Not a word of protest.’
‘Where was your indignation when we played [Afghanistan]? England wouldn’t play them, South Africa wouldn’t play them, New Zealand wouldn’t play them. The great humanitarians in Ireland had absolutely no difficulty. We’re hypocrites.’
Brendan O’ Neill sums up all the discussion surrounding Israel vs Ireland on Sunday night.
Every word. Nailed it.
“There is no way to explain this mania and hypocrisy…”

How dare Miliband shake Araqchi’s hand.
He owes Parliament, British Jews, and the Foreman family an explanation and an apology.
A propaganda win for Tehran, that’s what Miliband has given Iran. This is not an ally who’s misbehaving so you make a stern face while shaking their hand.
This is the regime behind repeated attacks on our Jewish communities since 2025, attempted assassinations on our soil, cyber attacks on our nation, that murders women for a raising their voices and their heads, and is holding an innocent - I will say those words even if Miliband won’t - British couple on a 10-year sentence so it can use them as leverage.
Shameful.
Unlike @AbdulElSayed, I’m an Arab who is actually from Israel. My family lived through the establishment of the state of Israel and what he calls the “Nakba.” The Holocaust was nothing like the events of the “Nakba” where my grandfather was told to flee by Arab leaders (not Jews) so the Arabs could “defeat the Jews.” He refused, and all the Arab residents who stayed were given citizenship. Those who fled, a large number by choice, were not permitted to return, as often happens in war. That is a catastrophe, a “nakba” of their own making. But there was no choice in the Holocaust, there was no citizenship for those who stayed. You are intentionally comparing a war and a genocide. They are not the same.
Your vile attempt to co-opt the largest massacre of the Jewish people in history, the systematic murder of six million people simply because they were Jews, for your own dystopian pro-terror Muslim Brotherhood agenda is despicable. I see through you Abdul. You may be able to fool Western Americans with your garbage, but we know who you really are.

Honored to have my research mentioned by @netanyahu in his address to the UNGA. Israel has in fact implemented more civilian harm mitigation measures (many that no nation has ever even imagined/attemped) than any military in history.
The other facts in his speech were also spot on. Israel has not only implemented extraordinary precautions in urban warfare to prevent civilian harm while Hamas has done everything it can to increase civilian harm, there is no genocide, actually the opposite of genocide in Gaza, Israel provided tons of food, water, medical supplies, facilitated immunizations for the entire populations, field hospitals, built new water lines, electricity, got patients to hospitals outside of Gaza, and much more.
No Joke: The Islamic Republic of Iran has been elected by secret ballot to the U.N. nuclear watchdog’s General Committee one week after the same body condemned Iran for non-compliance.
Dracula has been put in charge of the blood bank.

I’m struggling with the concept of someone who goes big on the moral importance of recognising the death & devastation in Gaza, & then 2 weeks later sits down with the Foreign Minister of a regime which this year murdered tens of thousands of people over the course of 72 hours.
In his final address, the outgoing Secretary-General of the United Nations told the General Assembly yesterday that Gaza represented “a scale of death and destruction unlike anything I have seen” in the job. Even by the most hostile tallies, that means something like 70,000 dead, a number that includes a large share of Hamas fighters.
Ever the propagandist, António Guterres wants the world to believe that this is the worst thing he has witnessed in nearly ten years running the world’s most powerful humanitarian machine.
OK. Time for a fact-check (doing it so that BBC Verify doesn’t have to). Wait until you see what else happened on his watch in the meantime...
New post.
Link in first reply!
Guess which country was just elected onto the steering committee of UN nuclear watchdog IAEA.
Go on...guess
The Islamic Republic of Iran
Really
This is why the UN is a completely unserious travesty of an organisation at this point
You get a lot of pious progressives on here denouncing Israel, making accusations of genocide, and weaponising emotive language about the killing of innocent people, as if they’re the only ones to have ever been horrified by war.
But what you rarely hear is what they actually want to happen next.
So, parking my own opinions for a moment, I’d genuinely like to know what the people constantly screaming vitriol about Zionism and Israel want Israel to do now - and, crucially, how they think that would work in practice.
Because the reason I’m such a cynic is that I believe if they got their way, and Israel stepped back and adopted a much less aggressive posture, sooner or later it would be attacked again. There would be another October 7. Perhaps something even worse.
And if Israel truly abandoned its determination to defend itself, I believe eventually it would face an existential attack from forces that quite openly want the Jewish state gone.
I’m not Jewish, but I understand why, after centuries of persecution culminating in the Holocaust, Jews concluded that they needed a homeland of their own - somewhere they could defend themselves, with borders, an army and the ability to ensure that nobody could ever again decide that Jews were defenceless and could simply be slaughtered.
This didn’t begin with Hitler. Jews had been subjected to pogroms and persecution long before the Nazis came to power. Hitler then took antisemitism to its most horrifying conclusion and attempted to annihilate European Jewry.
That history matters.
And this is why I struggle with so much of the rhetoric directed at Israel now. People condemn Israel endlessly, but very often they never explain what their alternative actually is.
What happens to Hamas? What happens to Hezbollah? What guarantees Israel’s security? What happens when the next group decides to cross the border and massacre civilians? Who stops them?
Instead we hear “From the river to the sea”. We hear “intifada”. We hear endless denunciations of Zionism.
And that’s why I suspect that, for at least some of the loudest voices, the destination is hiding in plain sight. They don’t merely want Israel to behave differently. They don’t want Israel to exist.
Maybe I’m wrong. But if I am, tell me what comes next.
Because “Israel must stop” isn’t a peace plan. It’s the beginning of the question, not the answer.
The two-state solution is dead. Banging on about it helps nobody. Sanctioning Israel doesn’t help a single Palestinian. Britain needs a policy with a chance of working. We need to de-recognise “Palestine” and start over from first principles.
1. Accountability for Palestinian hate preaching, antisemitic education, and pay-for-slay. Not a penny in aid or a step forward without that.
2. Back Palestinian emirates: local leaders with residents’ consent, willing to recognise Israel. No imposed puppets.
3. Fund jobs and schools that teach coexistence. Bring willing Arab partners in to share the bill.
4. Insist on genuine Palestinian self-government and reliable movement. Israel must ease restrictions on those areas as security improves.
5. Build community by community. Give Palestinians something worth protecting from militants who would wreck it.
6. Help Israel and Jordan cut Iran-linked arms routes. Protect Palestinians prepared to cooperate. Stop letting their would-be murderers dictate everyone else’s future.
Forget about a two-state solution. Israel is not going to commit national suicide just because Ed Miliband wants them to. Time for something else instead that might actually work.
This is truly a dark day for British Jews.
Today our Government has chosen to ignore the deep concerns expressed by so many of us.
The measures announced amount to little more than political flag bearing for mendacious anti-Israel rhetoric and those who harbour a dangerous obsession with the Jewish State. These measures will succeed only in bolstering the very extremism they seek to target.
On the eve of Rosh Hashanah and at a time when our community is more vulnerable than ever to the wave of extremism that has been building over recent years, these sanctions do nothing to advance the cause of peace. Nor do they make anyone safer – quite the contrary.
Gesture politics of this kind feeds into an increasingly hostile discourse about Israel, and the cumulative effect of such punitive policies is to further embolden those, at home and abroad, who use hatred as a weapon against Jews.
