[Ülle Madise @YlleMadise]

Today I took my oath of office before @Riigikogu, with a deep sense of responsibility & humbleness. Together, we shape Estonia’s future. Thank you for your kind wishes, and thank you, President @AlarKaris.

[Jüri Seilenthal @JSeilenthal]

Was very interesting, thanks!

A remarkable Estonian performance in the heart of Seoul. 🇪🇪🇰🇷

Three-time slackline world champion @JaanRoose took to the skies 120 metres above the South Korean capital today.

During an earlier visit to South Korea, Roose also encountered jultagi – Korea’s traditional tightrope walking, inscribed on @UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

Congratulations, Jaan, on taking Estonian talent to new heights in Seoul! 👏

It also had a political message. 🇪🇪flag was flying through Soviet occupation indicating the US did nor recognize our illegal annexation.

[Michael McFaul @McFaul]

This is insulting. As a State Department official, I took an oath in that building, with my hand on a Bible, to serve my country, as do all @StateDept officers. They are some of the most patriotic people I've ever met. No one I ever knew working there needed a "reminder."

It's also demoralizing if it's a stunt to fight alleged clientelism. What was Rubio thinking? Leaders are supposed to inspire their employees, not ridicule them.

[Jüri Seilenthal @JSeilenthal]

Amazing 🇪🇪! Investment into our and everybody’s future.

Our Interim Economic Outlook is out. Its title: Weathering Successive Shocks.

The global economy has absorbed the energy shock from the conflict in the Middle East better than expected, but it remains exposed.

Global growth: 2.9% in 2026, 3.0% in 2027, after 3.4% in 2025. 🧵

[Mathias Cormann @MathiasCormann]

I am very pleased to announce that the OECD Council has designated Czechia to chair our 2027 Ministerial Council Meeting.

Congratulations! 🇨🇿

Czechia joined the OECD in December 1995 and has since become one of the most integrated, export-driven economies in Central Europe.

Energy demand is growing fast. Nuclear energy can help meet rising needs and boost energy security.

At #RoadmapsToNewNuclear, co-hosted with the United States (@ENERGY) and the @OECD_NEA, the focus is delivery: investment, supply chains, skills and effective regulation.

[Theresa Fallon @TheresaAFallon]

Unlike in a Chekhov play when a gun appears in Act One, it will be fired in Act Three, talk of using the EU “trade bazooka” has evolved into fear of Chinese retaliation and meek EU requests for Beijing to voluntarily stop sending so many cars to Europe.

Good to welcome Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine 🇺🇦, to the @OECD.

We discussed Ukraine’s request to open accession discussions, the results of our Country Programme and OECD support for an ambitious Ukraine reform agenda even in wartime.

Heureux d’accueillir le Chef du gouvernement du Maroc Aziz Akhannouch et la Ministre de l’Économie et des Finances @FettahNadia à l’#OCDE.

Welcome to the @OECD!

Great to receive credentials of 5 new Ambassadors.

Per Fabricius Andersen 🇩🇰, Felix Klein 🇩🇪, Guido Landheer 🇳🇱, John Hurley 🇺🇸 & Christian Syse 🇳🇴.

Good first discussions.

Looking forward to our work to deliver better policies for better lives. 1/6

People think Finnish is a tough language because they've never seen Estonian.

#OTD, 32 years ago, the last Soviet troops left Estonia 🇪🇪, closing five decades of occupation and opening the way for us to fully restore our independence and rebuild our state on our own terms.

Three decades later, Russia’s imperial ambitions persist. Its full‑scale aggression against Ukraine is now in its fifth year. Moscow is once again seeking to redraw borders by force and undermine the foundations of international law.

Freedom is never automatic. It requires protection, purpose, and resolve.

As Ukraine defends its sovereignty and the security of all of Europe, our responsibility is to stand with them until Russia is back within its internationally recognised borders.
