On X, everyone knows how to run a country better than those in government. Curiously, many of their most celebrated heroes left behind records far worse than the leaders they now condemn. The man who cannot steer a canoe often lectures the fisherman on navigation.

On X, conversations are not won by who present the strongest arguments but by who deploys the harshest insults.

On X, a ₦50,000 or ₦100,000 empowerment grant for those on the lowest rung of the economic ladder is dismissed as an insult - as though every market woman, every rural farmer, every elderly widow and every unlettered artisan only needs Wi-Fi to build the next Flutterwave. Nothing demeans the poor more than expecting everyone to begin the race from the same starting line.
