@MHopeMK Corruption can't be totally eliminated, countries with death penalties for corruption still face corruption. That said, in our country, corruption is deep rooted such that even when someone doesn't ask for a kickback many still feel compelled to pay something.
@FMwenge If having such services from the authority are difficult the least they can do is regulate the construction of septic tanks such that effluent can only be pumped out rather than filtered into ground water.
@unidabwisa@WeziVMhone That's my point. These things are thrown everywhere and collect during the wet season and flow with the current until they find a restriction. Unless the general population manage this waste, there's very little that organization can do to prevent clogged drains.
These things flow with the current from everywhere until they find a restriction and clog, unless the citizens change there attitude towards plastic waste, laying the blame entirely on DMMU is flawed.
