A group of black and latina teens violently jumped random white girls at a carnival in Merrick, NY this weekend. They posted the attacks on social media. 3 girls went to the hospital, one teen suffered a concussion and other injuries. Only one of the attackers was arrested by Nassau County Police and charged with simple assault (as a teen, not as an adult). The rest of the group received no charges. If the races were reversed and this was a group of white girls attacking minorities to post on social media this would've been national headlines and a felony hate crime, and the girls would've been charged as adults. The double standard still exists. White victims don't matter.

2 other out of town girls who were black and Latina also came to the carnival. They came to film themselves dragging the White girls to the ground by their hair and mercilessly stomping them in the head and beating them while they were down

The white girls did not know the black and Latina girl, they were simply trying to enjoy the carnival

One of the white victims was only 15 and dropped off by her mom to meet 2 friends and her brother at the carnival

The white girls were extremely lucky to survive and had to be rushed to the hospital
